Search Engine Optimisation

What is search engine optimization?

  • Search engine optimization is the process of improving the volume or quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via "natural" or un-paid ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results as opposed to other forms of search engine marketing (SEM) which may deal with paid inclusion. I follow the Google Webmaster Guidelines when I optimise your website.
  • The earlier (or higher) a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine.
  • It requires changes to the HTML source code to include keywords relevant to the products and services promoted on your website (on-site optimisation). Off-site optimisation is just as important, it revolves around the links that point to your site from other webpages. For more details see our article about linking strategies.

Why do I need to search engine optimize my site on a regular basis?

  • The needs of your users change, so the keywords that your users use to search products or services related to your business may change from time to time
  • It may be that there is a lot of competition in your market segment. To be one step ahead of your competition you need to identify the new keywords that people use to search for products or services related to your business, and use them on your website.

How much does it cost?

  • First I do a free evaluation to see the level of search engine optimization done on your website

  • Costs start from €150
